It is my opinion that "Surf and Safari" is the best pinball ever. It's hard to finger the reason why, but I think it's the best, purely from a fun standpoint. "PinBot" is also a great machine. "Adams Family" is a great time too. "Moster Bash" and "Midevil Madness" (which are the same layout, just different fun) are also high on the list. I think its because both games have 3 multiballs that I know of.
But purely from a fun standpoint, currently in the market and available for play, "The Lord Of The Rings" is heads and shoulders above all others. Why? Well I will tell you why. It is really easy to do so in one sentence.
The game has 5 multiballs that "I know of" and I'm still learning more. Also the game has a mind of its own. Out of know where you may get another ball or maybe you lose a flipper for a second or two. It's like it thinks. After you kick butt, the game will not ALLOW you to succeed until it robs you of at least 2 full games. WOW. No other game can do that. And it DOES suck. But if it happens to you, you can take solice in the fact you just beat the machine up and IT wants revenge.
